We have a team of around 20 drivers at VEST Community Transport. The majority of our drivers are volunteers. Your safety and comfort are our priorities so we invest heavily in training all our drivers to the nationally recognised Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (Midas) standard. MiDAS covers classroom and on-road training and every driver undertakes refresher training every four years. In addition all our drivers are trained in passenger assistance and the use of wheelchair lifts. So don’t worry if you do have any difficulties boarding a regular service bus, our drivers will help you board safely and easily.
